Antique Hit Skip Oak
Antique Oak is usually reclaimed from old graineries, decking, roof rafters and floor joists. This Red and White Oak mix radiates earthy brown tones. Oak is known for its rigid strength and durability. The historic character of this material includes nail holes, dark patina coloring, saw marks and other signs of previous use. Circular sawmarks, like this picture, are a common option. The saw marks can be custom milled from 0% (none) to 100% (across the entire face of the board). This picture shows about 50% Hit and Skip Saw Marks.
