Antique Wormy Chestnut
Chestnut was a very popular building material in the past. Our Antique Wormy Chestnut is reclaimed from many parts of old buildings: beams, roof rafters, siding and floor joists, to name a few. This material tends to give the most warm and rustic appearance out of all the reclaimed floors. The deep brown coloring with highlight of gold combine perfectly with the historic character of the chestnuts. Nail and spike holes, surrounded by the stains from the rustic metals are common in this type of floor. Other signs of its previous life are evident in this Antique CHestnut flooring.
