Rustic White Oak
Red and White oaks are some of the more popular materials used for flooring, due to its durability and ease with which it takes stain. White oak tends to be a brownish color and has a nice variety of grain patterns. The Rustic White has a large variety of natural imperfections and open knots (which can be filled, partially filled or left open for a more rustic appearance). The Rustic White also tends to have more variety in colors and contrasts.
This particular Rustic White Oak floor was installed throughout the main level and an open staircase. This 3" - 7" random width floor was given a medium brown stain to accentuate the grain patterns and provide a beautiful contrast to the furniture and cabinets.
